Translating the essence of Parisian chic into a functional residential space required a masterclass in balance. Maison d'Artiste explores the delicate intersection of historical materiality and contemporary minimalism. By integrating hand-applied lime wash walls with custom-fabricated brass accents and antique oak flooring, we created a sanctuary that is both editorial in its aesthetic and deeply personal in its feel. The primary design challenge was to honor the grand industrial volumes of the space while maintaining a sense of residential intimacy, achieved through an artisanal approach to neutral layering and meticulous attention to textured detail.
